3 weeks, by the way, should be 31 weeks. I'm now 31 weeks pregnant.

You're in a pretty tough spot, but now you shouldn't just think about yourself, but also about the baby that's coming. Is this a good situation for the baby, or would it be better for the baby if you two split up? You should probably list everything out first. If you split up, can you stay with someone for now until you have your own place? For example, your parents, siblings, other family, friends? If the house is jointly owned, you could also choose to stay there. As a single parent (in the Netherlands), you're entitled to certain allowances, and if you can't stay in the house, there will be housing options you can afford financially.

If you haven't already, talk to someone close to you about what you're going through. They already know your situation and are experiencing it closely, so they'll be able to give you better advice.

Wishing you lots of success and strength, and try to keep enjoying your pregnancy and think about the baby in your belly. Stress isn't good for the little one.

    Hi there,

I think it's really tough for you. Being a single mom isn't easy, but it's doable. Ask yourself if you really want to raise your child in such a situation. If you ask me, I'd say leave quickly. But you have your own reasons for leaving or staying, and you need to sort those out for yourself before making a decision.

I wish you and your baby all the best.

It's a tough decision that only you can make. But the most important thing is your baby, because growing up without a father isn't easy for a child either. Every decision you make affects your child's life. It's no longer just about whether you can live with the father, but also about your child. I'd say go to couples therapy if you're not doing it for yourself. Do it for your child. Lots of strength anyway. Greetings, Madelene

    Hi hi ladies,
    Thanks for the tips,
It's indeed a tough situation and I'm still not sure what to do. Madelene, that's exactly what I'm struggling with. My boyfriend doesn't want to go to therapy, and I've asked him multiple times. And whether I should stay for our baby, I find so hard to decide. I'm also afraid of making the wrong choice. If my own mother had left my father 20 years ago, it would have saved me and my siblings a lot of pain, but she thought staying was best for the kids. (Now they're divorced.) That's why I find the choice so difficult. I really hope there's a solution... I love him, but I can't go on like this.
