Hello pregnant ladies.

I found out today that I'm pregnant.
I have no idea where to start or what to do next.

Should I make an appointment with the GP now?
When will my first ultrasound be?
When should I make an appointment with the midwife?

Thanks in advance, ladies.

Best regards

just make an appointment with your GP. They can explain everything you want to know.

    Hi there!

If you want to discuss everything, you can indeed make an appointment with your GP, as chantieeee says.

Another thing you could do is look for a midwife practice in your area that you feel comfortable with.. you can call them to schedule your first ultrasound. They'll also explain everything else regarding arrangements for postnatal care, etc.
Basically, that's the only thing you need to do early in your pregnancy; going to the GP isn't strictly necessary or mandatory (I didn't do it either).

One more tip: start taking prenatal vitamins.
And if you live in the Netherlands, check out the Moeders voor Moeders website.

And.. congratulations, and enjoy your pregnancy!

eat healthy and quit smoking if you do
and make an appointment with your midwife to see what's closest to your area
    congratulations on your pregnancy
    greetings, Madelene
