Getting pregnant after a curettage

Hey Pip

I had a D&C on April 7th after a miscarriage (also 1,5 weeks of bleeding but then only after 59 days of my period). Before the D&C I was also fairly fertile, in the 2nd month that we were really trying I got pregnant (then 3 months off the pill). Now I'm on day 23 of my cycle and as far as I know I still haven't ovulated.

So my cycle is really a mess, but I've also heard other stories that are much more positive! I hope you get pregnant soon!

My cycle was normal again right after my curettage, every month around 27, 28 or 29 days. Two months later, I started trying to get pregnant again, but so far (almost 11 months later) it hasn't worked out. I started tracking my temperature last month to see exactly what my cycle is doing now. With my other kids, I always had an early ovulation, but with the last pregnancy, it was really late.

I think getting pregnant quickly is really luck, and taking longer is just bad luck (of course not in all cases).

Try to relax (said she who stresses herself out every month in the weeks leading up to her period). Pushing yourself won't make you get pregnant faster.

Good luck, success, and hopefully it'll work out soon.

Hi everyone, are you still there?
I also had a period and last week had a curettage. Terrible, such a disappointment.
I want to get pregnant again as soon as possible, but it's hard to stay relaxed with all this going on.. Pppfff

    Greetings,

    Hi everyone.

I have a quick question... I've been on bed rest for two weeks now, and the hospital told me that I shouldn't get pregnant for the next 4 months because it would increase my risk of miscarriage.
This is of course a terrible disappointment. But it seems so strange to me. I haven't heard anywhere that this is the case.

Does anyone know anything about this? What are your experiences with it?

    Love
