Hi,

I'd love your advice.
I got a smiley on May 31st. I also did some chores that day.
Now it's June 8th today, and because I felt some little twinges again, I did a digital ovulation test and got another smiley.
You can't test positive twice a month, right? On the 31st I really had ovulation symptoms: twinges in the groin and a headache. Now on June 8th, twinges in the groin again. I don't understand anything anymore. I took a pregnancy test from 123 thuistesten.nl, the extremely sensitive one, but those are negative.
Does anyone here have experience with this, having a smiley twice, and I don't mean two days in a row, but twice about a week or a week and a half apart.

    Hi Marleen,
    I once read that you can, in very rare cases, have two ovulations in one cycle.
    But this is really very rare!
    If I were you, I'd go do some chores And then just wait and see if it worked out!

    Hi Marleen,

    Quick question: when are you due for your period again?
    I had something similar. I did an ovulation test and was fertile that day and the next.
    I was curious if the tests actually work, so I did another one 3 days later, and yes, it was still positive. So that can't last long. I read online that you can get positive ovulation tests if you're pregnant. I waited a week and took a test, and yes!!! I was pregnant.
    Just keep an eye on it if you don't get your period, or if it's different, take a test.

    That's exactly what I just thought too. I figured I'd write right away. Last week I had a smiley face, and now again... no idea when my period should come because I was pregnant twice in June and September, but both times it went wrong. Once a miscarriage and once the heartbeat stopped. So how many weeks should I wait to do a pregnancy test? I don't know either! It's all so exciting. I know that ovulation tests also show positive if you're pregnant, I remember that from my previous pregnancies. So we'll just have to wait... I think I'll test in 2 weeks.

    Hi there!

    Totally get it. I had a positive test on Wednesday, Feb 17th, and then nothing on Feb 18th.
    Friday morning I was positive again.
    Friday night negative.
    Then Saturday and Sunday positive.
    Today Monday, negative again.
    Did some early pregnancy tests. Unfortunately negative.

    Any tips?

    Yeah, that could be. I read that especially for women over 35. That's why they more often have twins. It could also be that you're pregnant. If you keep a smiley in a row for a few days now, that could be the case. Ovulation tests sometimes pick up hCG and then show positive.

    Hi, same here. Ovulation was positive on Feb 21-22 and then clear as day. Yesterday and today (no clue, but I suddenly had a feeling) I thought I was ovulating again, and sure enough, a faint line.. bizarre. My period should be coming this Sun/Mon.. just did an early pregnancy test but it's clear as day. I don't get it at all..

    29-09 flashing smiley
    30-09 steady smiley (fertilized)
    1-10 steady smiley (also)
    2-10 no smiley
    3-10 flashing smiley
    Can I really ovulate twice in such a short time? What are your thoughts?
