deeply sad

Jessica
Hi ladies,

I'm 34 weeks pregnant now, but I'm suddenly experiencing intense moments of sadness.
I've lost both my parents, and I'm scared when I think about the birth (C-section).
Knowing that I have a wonderful family and an amazing man by my side who support me, because I'd be alone on my side. But sometimes I just can't shake off the sadness. Are there other ladies who feel this intense grief?
I have an amazing man, a super sweet 5-year-old son, and a sweet little miracle who make me so happy. Why am I sad?

    Hey Jessica,

You say it yourself: Super Man, Super son, and a little miracle that makes you happy—that says enough, right?
It’s totally normal to feel sad sometimes; it’s all the hormones!
You’re naturally sad about your parents, but the hormones are what make you feel so depressed.

Hang in there, girl. Your parents will also be there for the birth, just in a different way than your in-laws

Yeah, I realize that and it's not really like a depressive feeling, but I can suddenly start crying so hard when I think about them. Don't get it...
Pff and if it's the hormones, well then, I'm not even due for the new little potatoes yet.
    Hopefully that'll pass quickly :s

that's just how it is, with my pregnancy it was so weird! when I was in a good mood I could suddenly get really angry (for no reason) and I was also crying all the time,
luckily my husband was understanding, because he really didn't have it easy with me I was quite shocked by my reactions, but I didn't dwell on it too much, because yeah that's just the hormones, they can drive you crazy sometimes
come on Jessica, hang in there a little longer, 6 more weeks
    Lots of strength

    Hi Jessica,

It's really completely understandable that you sometimes feel incredibly sad. Your parents are just meant to be there, and I've felt that intense grief too, and still do, despite my lovely husband, little boy, family, etc. I don't have my mother-in-law or my own mother anymore, and my dad is ill, and my father-in-law lives far away. Just let your grief flow, that's really very normal, you want them here with you, and they are your role models. I always keep my mother and mother-in-law in my thoughts. Lots of strength!!

Yeah, but sometimes my in-laws or whoever ask if I'm not happy. And I am happy. They understand my grief, but still...
I think a lot about my parents and I include them in my thoughts, but it's so heavy now that everything is getting closer.
I think I'll have a hard time processing this time... but I'll manage. I know now that ladies like me feel such intense grief, even though we are happy.

hi jessica i completely understand your sadness. my parents are still alive but they don't want anything to do with me because of my choice of partner, even though my partner is truly a gem. the sadness is great, but i hold on to what i do have, and they are always in my thoughts. just let your sadness flow, that's normal, but enjoy your family with all your heart. your parents are always with you in your heart, so they are always by your side. good luck, dear x

Hey Karima, my dear, dear sister. The kids are there for you too, girl, you know that. Of course, I can't fulfill all your wishes, but I give you all my love, to you and to your beautiful kids. And one day, things will be okay. I know how you feel because it's the same for me, yes, of course, I still have contact with my mom, but for the rest, nobody wants me around. But as you say, we have a very good man and beautiful kids that we hold onto. Lots of strength, and you know you can count on my shoulder.

Jessica, lots of strength to you too, girl. Your parents are with you; you carry them in your heart, and so they're always with you. Enjoy your pregnancy, and the best, girl. Greetings.
