Where does the name Ilvy come from?

no idea, but I do know that Wikky's friend is called Ilvy Viking. My daughter is named Ilvy, I haven't heard it before.

I first saw the name in a fairy tale princess, but hers was Ilva. Now I see it more often, so it’s probably becoming a trend. It sounds soft and modern. I think it’s a lovely name, though it takes a bit of getting used to if you didn’t grow up with it.
