Forum Pregnancy tests, ovulation and ovulation tests

early test.

Hi ladies,

I’m usually not one to test too early, but I have a fertility check-up with the gynecologist on Friday. According to my GP, they won’t be testing me there and can’t see anything via ultrasound that early anyway. I have an ovulation app, and from today I could do an early test. I’m wondering which one is the most reliable...? I know it’s not really reliable yet, but the idea is a bit scary to me in case it finally worked out and then I get all sorts of tests...

Thanks a lot in advance! x

    Hi Angel,

You'd need a test that turns positive at lower HCG levels. I heard Sensitest is like that. But I think the Kruitvat 2v5 is pretty sensitive too.

But can't you get a blood test? HCG shows up faster in blood than in urine, so it gives more certainty.

    Anyway, good luck!
