Lotte, Nelle, or...?

My daughter is named Lotte and I still find it absolutely beautiful. It's nice that she thinks her name is pretty too.

I find Nelle nice on one hand, but on the other hand it feels a bit old-fashioned to me. Also, this will probably be shortened by everyone (but I don't know if you'd mind that or not).

I know a girl (and also a boy) who is named Melle.
I think Lotte is nicer than Nelle.

Lotte, beautiful name but it's quite common (I'd never choose it myself, but everyone has their own taste, of course )

I'd rather go with Lotje.

I find Nelle a bit unusual, but indeed, the abbreviation?
What do you think of Josje, Fiene, etc.?
