No symptoms????

Hi IVFje,

Have you been to your appointment yet?

I can tell you that I never had any symptoms during my pregnancies. No nausea, never really sore breasts, nothing.

So I don't think you need to worry. It's not like having pregnancy symptoms means you're definitely pregnant.

Cheers

    Hey

No, I haven't been to the check-up yet.
The first ultrasound is on March 25th... Then I'll be 7 weeks.
I'm glad to read that there are still women who don't have this... I can only congratulate myself that I don't have nausea or anything like that... We'll see..
But the shock is still there... My previous IVF didn't implant back then, now they've put back 2 embryos... My HCG levels were quite high so there's still a chance that I might have twins...
But better 2 than none... I'm curious...
We'll see. I'm trying to relax as much as possible and not think too much...

    Best regards

    Congratulations on your pregnancy!!
I hope I can reassure you a bit by telling you that I also had no symptoms throughout my entire pregnancy. I can imagine it might have caused you some anxiety, but it doesn't have to be the case.. Enjoy the first ultrasound! Wishing you a wonderful pregnancy.

    Hi,

Ugh, I'm totally losing it... Now even my breasts don't hurt anymore... :-(
And it's still 2 weeks until the first scan...
Yeah, I guess there's nothing more I can do but wait...
    But I'm so anxious!!
    Xxx
    Best,

Never had any sickness. My breasts were growing and a bit painful though. No nausea, no twinges or aches, not tired. I felt super.. I was also very anxious, but now I'm already 23 weeks pregnant. Luckily I can feel the baby every day, and I've got a mom-belly by now. Otherwise I wouldn't believe it.

Try to enjoy it.. But I completely understand how insecure it makes you feel.

    Hi IVF mom,

Congratulations on your pregnancy! Don't stress too much. It's tough, but wait until week 25. Not having symptoms is totally fine. They usually start later, and some women never have any issues. The pain stopping is normal too; it can already fade by week 5. I had this with my first daughter—painful breasts, etc., went away around week 5 or 6. It stressed me out back then, but everything was fine. As long as you're not bleeding, everything should be okay.

    Hi ProudMama,

Thanks for your reply! I feel a bit more at ease already... But I'm still glad I went to my first ultrasound... It's a confirmation, right? Either yes, everything is okay, or no, it's not okay... But we'll see! I've also heard from others who didn't have any symptoms either... Phew! But lately, I've been experiencing some nausea and dizziness in the evenings... But it's not bothersome or severe at all. So if it stays like this, I guess I can consider myself lucky. Next week, I'll suddenly know whether there are two or not... They transferred two embryos... So it could still be exciting. My husband isn't thrilled if we end up with two... Haha... For me, it doesn't really matter much whether it's one or two... After struggling for so many years, I've passed the phase where I had a preference or choice... Are there any other women here with IVF??

    Best regards!!

Hi IVF mom... no, I totally get it... but it's so nice that you don't have any symptoms at all... I've been on bed rest since week 5... terrible vomiting, nauseous... I'm now 11 weeks and 3 days.
Just eat whatever you're craving... it'll come back on its own.
Have you had your ultrasound yet?
    Greetings, Kim

    Hi Kim

Yeah, I'm indeed taking advantage of the fact that I don't have morning sickness yet... But don't celebrate too soon!! Muss is still going to get it..
Yeah, I had my first ultrasound yesterday, which was quite exciting to see and watch the little heart beat.. :-)) magical!! Next scan is at 9 weeks..
Yeah, I'm just trying to eat what I crave to make sure I get enough food in... It might improve soon, hopefully El :-)

    Best, IVFje :-))
