Yes, you could definitely be pregnant! Brown/dark blood means old blood, and this is likely your implantation bleeding. You can recognize it by the brown/dark (rusty) or light pink color. Lower back pain and abdominal pain are definitely signs of pregnancy.
I can't give you full certainty, but in the case of a miscarriage, it's usually bright red blood. Brown and dark blood doesn't necessarily mean anything serious. If your abdominal pain becomes very intense (severe cramps) and the bleeding increases significantly, turning lighter (bright red), then it could be a miscarriage. But that's quite different from what you've described!
