I'm 9 weeks pregnant and had brown discharge this morning. Could it be the start of a miscarriage?

When brown spotting turns into bright red bleeding, it could be a miscarriage. Otherwise, it’s just old blood that you’re passing, and there’s no need to worry about it at all, especially if it’s only once.
