We're facing a problem.....

We're expecting our third baby in May.

Our other two kids have short names: Jort & Maud. Do you think our third baby should also have a name with just 1 syllable?

I personally don't mind a short name with 2 syllables, but my husband does. He feels we should go with a short name with 1 syllable, otherwise it feels so silly....

What do you all think??

I believe the names don't need to match each other. Whether it's 1, 2, or more syllables. The name should just feel right for the baby. I do pay attention to abbreviations though, so it doesn't end up being like W.C. ...... Every child is unique.
