Got metoclopramide prescribed by the doctor this afternoon and I'm curious if anyone here has experience with it.

Love, fox?

I don't remember the name of the medicine I got from the hospital during my pregnancy, but they were suppositories. They worked great. At least you could keep food and fluids down. But I don't know how severe your nausea is. As long as you can keep most of it down, I wouldn't start with medication. I ended up in the hospital because of severe dehydration and couldn't keep anything down anymore, not even water. This was towards the end of my pregnancy.

    Hi proud mama.

If my nausea wasn't so bad, I wouldn't have started. I'm already so glad this remedy takes the edge off, because with my previous pregnancy I was really nauseous for nine months and nothing helped.

I know metoclopramide, but not its use during pregnancy. I once used it when I was feeling nauseous. But it made me restless (increased heart rate). Of course, that doesn't mean it won't work for you. For me personally, it caused too many side effects! Good luck and hopefully it helps you!

I got this medication from the hospital today. I have breast cancer and am now getting chemo. As a precaution, I was given this medication. But I actually don't want to use it. When I read the leaflet... My question is: will I get nauseous now, and can I still use metoclopramide? I can't find this anywhere.

    Kind regards,
