pregnant and having sex

I never hated that with my two daughters, I just had sex. But I did hate it during my first pregnancy and my second pregnancy too. That having sex would start labor, but I was already 3 weeks before my due date. I got cramps in my belly and then the contractions started right after having sex. I'm almost sure that if I hadn't had sex both times, I wouldn't have given birth yet. But anyway, if you're worried about it, I'd ask the midwife just to be sure, although I don't think it can do any harm.
