We had that for a while too. We just brought him into our bed and then he slept well. It was really just a phase; now he's sleeping fine again.

I secretly think it's cozy too, but does he sleep in his own crib now?
Just put him to bed at half past 8, he was asleep but woke up, was picked up, rocked, and is now sleeping in his own crib. I turned on a dimmer lamp, I'm curious. He's such a cheerful little guy during the day, no problem at all. And then he sleeps around half past 11 in the morning for about an hour, and in the afternoon another half hour from 3 to half past 5, no problem.

hi irma some babies just need more closeness with mom
i felt that too with my daughter she only fell asleep on my belly
so i watched tv with her lying on my stomach and then i always had to stroke her back for a while sometimes longer
and then she could sleep my eldest daughter always wanted me to walk around with her until she slept i did that by walking back and forth in her room holding her and then i could put her down to sleep
some babies need a lot of warmth from their mother and need to be close to her that calms them and gives them a sense of security
and think about it after 9 months they heard your heartbeat they were close to you they heard your voice
suddenly they lie alone in a crib in a room without the warmth of the womb they were so used to without your voice and they don't hear your heartbeat anymore so they naturally miss all that
so i'd say keep your baby close to you and they're only little once greetings marijke

    Hi Irma,

Yes, he's sleeping really well in his own little bed now, better than with us. And I secretly thought it was quite cozy too, hehe. And what a lovely, easy-going kid!

Woke up last night from 3 to 4, his crib almost broke down. Gave him some juice and he went back to sleep. At 6 the alarm went off, but we're staying positive—it'll definitely work out. At 7 he had his first feed.
Yeah, really an easy-going little guy.
