work conflict

Hi

I'm just curious about your opinions and/or experiences!

I'm no longer allowed to do my current job now that they know I'm pregnant. (11 weeks)
They've given me replacement work, which is much heavier than my current job. Namely, bar shifts... carrying things, cleaning, arranging snacks and drinks, constantly serving people at the bar, and sometimes I have to handle everything alone. No breaks, work from 8 to 5. Dirty air from dirty dishes and frying. On top of that, I have dyscalculia (math dyslexia) and experience a lot of stress because of it. I absolutely don't think it's a nice or good solution. I would have much preferred to do administrative work. I asked if they could arrange other work for me, but according to them, that's not possible.

Has anyone had a similar situation? Or were you happy with this?

Fortunately, I don't have any experience, but I would definitely talk to HR or personnel again. If they still don't take action, then go on sick leave until, for example, the occupational health physician takes it seriously.
Why can't you do your current job? Because this is clearly not a good solution.

I can't do my current job anymore because of noise, physical strain, night shifts, or safety issues. So I get that it's no longer possible... but I feel like what I have to do now isn't as tough. I thought maybe it was just me, but I work in a male-dominated environment, so there's no respect or understanding. I guess I should call the doctor, indeed.
