Hi,

I haven't been feeling well since my last period. I've had heartburn after eating or drinking, or like it's rising up. Also a lot of itching on my belly.
Lately I've had a lot of stress. Haven't been feeling well these past few days either. I do get hungry, so I eat something, but it doesn't sit well. Also very tired, sometimes nauseous and with a headache. Now I started my period on Wednesday night, which is a bit earlier than usual. Only lost blood on Thursday, it was quite dark/black. Now it's a bit red. Still feel pulling in my belly, it feels very weird, normally I don't have these complaints. I am on the pill and have been taking it correctly. Could it be that you get your period when you're pregnant?

Yes, you can get your period while pregnant if you're on the pill, but it's not a real period. Best wishes, Karin

Maybe do a test during your next week off? Or is that not possible? I don't know much about it... Let me know what the result is?

I always feel so stupid. I take the pill, and sometimes I think I might be pregnant. I always take the pill correctly. Tonight, I suddenly started bleeding quite a bit. I also keep feeling like something is pressing on my bladder. Plus, I’ve had a big bruise on my chest for a few days now. I just feel ashamed for regularly thinking I’m pregnant. But I also sometimes have these weird symptoms. This could of course also be due to my irritable bowel.

My aunt once threw up. She had the flu, and then the pill stopped working, and she still got her period. So she thought she wasn't pregnant. But with the pill, you don't have a real period, so you can never really tell if you're pregnant based on that, because you get withdrawal bleeding instead. My aunt did have tender breasts and felt a bit nauseous, so she turned out to be pregnant. So the pill didn't work for her anymore when she threw up during her flu. Greetings, Karin

Could it be that alcohol causes you to have heavier bleeding? I had two glasses yesterday, and this morning I woke up completely soaked, even though I haven't lost much over the past few days.

The bleeding suddenly stopped this afternoon. There was a little bit earlier, but now nothing more.
