Aline or Emmalien

Aline: pronounced "a-lien", so the spelling is different from the pronunciation.. Sounds more modern than Emmalien.

Emmalien: uncommon so the spelling might not be obvious either? We think it's really beautiful but maybe too special, long..

Congratulations on your pregnancy! I think Emmalien sounds the most beautiful—really a lovely name. I don’t like Alien at all, sorry. I don’t think Alien is modern enough; Emmalien feels unique instead, which gives her a special, one-of-a-kind name. I find it not just beautiful but truly gorgeous. If I ever have another daughter, I’d love that name for her. Too bad I didn’t know about it sooner. My two little girls are Yara and Jasmiene. Best wishes, Moniek

Emmalien... I find Aline sounds too much like "alien" in terms of pronunciation.

    Here’s a vote for Aline.
Emmalien is more original, but it’ll also make her last name longer, so maybe that’s a bit too much? Again, it’s personal, of course—I’m not really a fan of that myself.

Oh, what do you think about the spelling Emmaline instead of Emmalien? I find that slightly nicer.

    Good luck with it!

and later you'll be really impressed by her beautiful name, and then you can be a proud mom that you gave her that name. Greetings, Marinta.

I think Emmalien also sounds really nice. But yeah, it does take some getting used to for people who aren't familiar with the name. Some will probably spell or pronounce it differently. Aline, on the other hand, is very comfortable and easy. If you want that original name, go for it, but be prepared for questions about the spelling.
