Yes or no?

Dear people,

I'm new here and I was hoping you could give me some answers? My boyfriend and I have been trying to get pregnant since January.

My period was due on 15-12-2013, so I'm already 4 days late! I took a Clearblue test this morning and it showed a very faint plus sign!

Should I take another Clearblue digital test this afternoon, or do you think it's better to wait until morning? I can't hold it in anymore; I really want to know!

An + is an + I think. Shouldn't that show up even if there's no pregnancy? I hope I can congratulate you. Personally, I wouldn't wait to take the other test. Too curious.
If you're already 4 days late, there should definitely be a result by now, even if it's not morning?

Yeah, I did it this morning with the regular Clear Blue, so I was wondering if I should use morning urine with the digital one too, or if I can do it in the afternoon. I'm just so nervous and really hoping it's positive, but waiting another 2 days feels hard! But they always say you can't get a plus without being pregnant, right? I have a photo of the test, but you can barely see it here.

Hey girl, I think we should congratulate you! A plus is a plus, and it doesn't show up if you're not pregnant (unless you're seeing a + because you really want to see it...)
It's true that morning urine is stronger. I also tested in the afternoon at first, and then it took longer than the prescribed 5 minutes before a line appeared, and it was very faint. When I tested with the first urine the next morning, the line jumped off the screen. Exciting, keep us updated??

    Hi Samenta,
So, do you know any more yet?

    Hi lovely people,
Thanks for your replies. I tested positive a few days later.
Since Saturday I've had some bleeding, no stomach pain though. I suddenly felt something moving, which I also felt on Sunday. This morning there was nothing more. The GP said it wasn't urgent, so I went to the hospital on Saturday and they told me to come back this week. I'm trying to get referred to the hospital today via my GP because I'm feeling so unsure right now.

I can imagine this makes you feel really insecure. It's normal to feel uncertain, but things like this only make it worse. From 6 weeks you can see a heartbeat on the ultrasound, so maybe you could have an early scan. That could really put you at ease.

Yes, I called the midwife. I have an ultrasound this afternoon at 3:40 PM, and I hope the little heart is beating. I'm so nervous right now.

Just read your message. Did you have a good ultrasound? Hope so for you!

    Hey

    That was quite a disappointment!
I went to the doctor in the afternoon, and she checked and said my cervix was closed, so there was a small chance of miscarriage! In the afternoon after that, I went to the GP and on the ultrasound, nothing was visible; the uterus was empty, only a cyst was found! But my gut feeling says otherwise. I tested positive 11 days ago; maybe I'm still too early pregnant to see it on the ultrasound? Well, tomorrow I'll probably go to the hospital to get it checked and stuff.

    Hi there,

I went to the hospital and unfortunately had a miscarriage. It's been two weeks now and I'm experiencing nausea, cravings, and discomfort during sex again. Could it be that I'm pregnant again? I also have stabbing pains in my side and groin, and my breasts are tender. Could I be pregnant again, or am I just fooling myself?

It could be, but let it come to you because otherwise you might just be fooling yourself. These are also symptoms that can be associated with an approaching period. I hope for you that it turns out you're pregnant after all.
