Ladies, I was wondering when did you test positive? How many days late were you then?

Ladies, I was wondering how many days late you were when you got a positive pregnancy test result. Greetings, Renate

It really varies from person to person; some bodies produce hCG earlier than others. If you're a day overdue, you can definitely test already. Nowadays, it can even detect it 4 days in advance.

Hi there, thanks for your reply. I’m really struggling with something strange. I took the pregnancy test from the pharmacy this afternoon and at first I saw nothing. A little later, I saw a very clear, though very light pink line. It’s quite visible, just very light pink. A bit later I saw it again—would you consider it positive? Greetings, Renate

I showed it to my neighbor, she said you can't miss it, clear line, light pink, it's there clearly, but I'm wondering why did it appear later?

Would the test have needed more time because I only noticed the line a bit later? My other neighbor looked at it too, and she said my test was exactly the same—just a very light pink line when I tested. But my question to you all is: could that mean the test needed more time? Otherwise, the result is positive. Greetings, Renate

I think your hcg was just a bit too low back then. I had that too, and a week later I had a very clear positive. At Action, they have 2 tests for 1.49, and those are good. Test again in 3 days, then you should get a clearer positive if you are indeed pregnant.

I tested positive for my period three days in a row!

Thanks for your message, sweetie! I just don’t understand why I don’t feel any symptoms with my second daughter. With my first, I already felt pregnant 3 days before I went overdue—I was dizzy, had extreme cravings, and now I feel nothing.

Every pregnancy is different. Your hCG might still be low, which could be why you're not feeling too much discomfort. With my oldest, I was really sick. With the youngest, I had no issues at all. With the third pregnancy, I had sore breasts like never before and vomited once a day. The second pregnancy was rough—tiredness and headaches. And now, I'm really tired, nauseous in waves, and my breasts are sore sometimes. Yesterday, I felt fine most of the day, but in the evening, I was absolutely exhausted. Fatigue is definitely a daily thing for me.

Thanks, beertje, for your clear explanation. So it was different for you with each pregnancy too. Still not my period, I

I've kept my test, by the way, and I think I'll test again in 2 days. Greetings, Renate

Yeah, it was different every time. I'm pregnant for the 5th time now, and I've never been nauseous in the evening before, but this time I'm feeling really awful. Don't worry.

4 days overdue, could have tested earlier but we didn't want to because it was on weekdays, and didn't like the idea of saying, well honey congratulations and work's

but then it's actually fun to test, I think. then you go to work cheerfully, you start your workday happy and cheerful, I think. you can enjoy the positive test at work, I think. and then in the evening after work, celebrate together with your loved one. that's how I look at it. I tested on workdays for both of my pregnancies. greetings, Livia

I actually found this a lovely way to spend the whole day together with my partner. And of course you want to know as soon as possible, and that's exactly what I was struggling with Everyone's their own way

With my first pregnancy I tested
    I kept getting negative results
    But I didn't trust it
    My period kept coming anyway
So I had my blood drawn
    And the result was positive
Which I hadn't expected, I thought it was a false pregnancy.
At the first ultrasound I was almost 4 months along
