Sinterklaas

Our girl is only 10 months old now (turns 11 at the end of Dec) and I'm already involving her in Sinterklaas.. like this we put little shoes together with a drawing she scribbled, a lump of sugar or a carrot for Sinterklaas, and a pint for Zwarte Piet, and a bottle of soda for Sinterklaas like I used to do ...we do this on Dec 5th and then in the morning on Dec 6th her toys are displayed and it looks like they've been played with, then I put black Piet hands all around her toys and on the doors so it looks like Piet came in.. (with paint that comes off everywhere (kids' paint)) I'm curious about her first Sinterklaas celebration this year she only gets clothes from us and a small toy since she already gets way too many toys from grandparents and godparents
