Secretly I'm already fantasizing about baby names.. I find it especially difficult for a boy.. I wouldn't know what to call him if I had a son!! What do you think are beautiful names? Both for girls and boys?

Our son is named Bram & Gregory. ...otherwise we thought George was nice for a boy and Anna Liza for a girl

We also find boys' names so much harder. We're torn between Stef or Ward. (Flemish) What style are you looking for names in?

Hi Lieke! I think Arthur, Alexander, Rutger, Loutiano (pronounced Loetjano), and Devan are really nice names for a young Magnus. And for a girl, I like Fransiska, Loetsia, Sharinta, Madelijne, and Shirly. Greetings, Felicia.

And for a boy: Markus, Giovani, Nikki, Roberto, Ronaldo, Marius, Frans. Greetings, Annemieke.

Our little boy is named Dean. If it had been a girl, she would have been named Lisa. Maybe a second time, hihi. Or Lara, which is also very beautiful.

Maybe it'll pop into your head when you see her later.

I'm still in the very early stages of pregnancy, hehe! But I'm already daydreaming about life! Luckily, we still have a long way to go.. I think Levi is also a nice name for a boy.. And if it's a girl, Lieke Esmee

this isn't meant to be mean or rude, but whenever I hear the girl's name Lieke, I always think of "licking," so it makes me think of "licking me," and that association makes me feel like I could never go with the name Lieke.

    greetings, Siska

I think the name Lerieke sounds really nice when pronounced as Lirieke. Not meant to be rude, just sharing my personal opinion. Greetings, Siska

Congratulations on your pregnancy! Here are a few names if it’s a girl: Angeliqe, Liena, Achnieta, Seline, Djamila. Djamila also has a beautiful meaning, by the way—it means beauty. Irene, Elizabeth, Eliza, Elvira, Sherien. I hope you find something you like here. Best wishes, Isabel.

I personally wouldn't wait until I see my baby at birth to choose a name. It's better if you get familiar with the name beforehand and slowly get used to calling your baby that name. For a girl: Rasjelle Veroniqe (pronounced Veroniek), Sesiele Nadiene. For a boy: Liroy, Clien, Frans, Kevin. Greetings, Mariska

hahaha that's every man for himself, Siska.. I find it weird when you think of the name Lieke and then think of licking hahaha. but anyway, it doesn't change anything

    Congratulations on your pregnancy!
And just go for the name that feels right to you both!
I think it's a nice name and don't see the connection to licking, but that's personal for everyone.
    Good luck with your choice!

Thank you.. no, I don't see that link either, haha.. luckily I still have quite a few weeks left

I hope you understand that I didn't mean it in a nasty way. It's just how it comes across to me. Sorry if it sounds unpleasant. It's purely personal. Do you or others here also think the name of my kids is less good? I respect that. And I also respect your taste. If you like it, go for it. I just meant that the sound is almost the same to me, even though they are two different words. "Lieke" sounds like "likke", the only difference is the "ie". If you pronounce it with a short "i" sound, you get "likken". That's what I meant. Anyway, I hope I conveyed it a bit correctly. Good luck with your baby. Greetings, Siska.

Hi Siska, I think you should take into account that it's also possible that someone names their child after their deceased mother or maybe someone else who is dear to them. That can be hurtful when you share your opinion, even if you're honest about it. I...

I think Lieke is actually pretty nice, although it's quite common these days. But that's certainly no reason not to go for it. I think names like Nina and Fay are cute and lovely, but they're also quite common. My four daughters are Vanessa, Julia, Jowenna, and Jessica. Greetings, Marion
