Ladies, are there more pregnant with triplets? I'm pregnant with triplets. I'm happy about my pregnancy but also super nervous at the same time.

Hi ladies, I'm pregnant with triplets and I was wondering if there are any other women here expecting triplets? I'm of course very happy about my pregnancy, but also so incredibly scared about how it's going to be with triplets. I had prepared myself for having one child, but I hadn't counted on three. I'm really worried about how busy it will get. I'd love to hear from women who already have experience with this. Best wishes, Silvana

Pfff.... sounds pretty heavy to me too (don't know!!) I just gave birth to my 2nd baby 8 weeks ago and I find that pretty busy sometimes. We have a 6-year gap between them, but it does seem like a real richness. We feel so incredibly rich with our two beautiful boys....s6

Thanks for your message, and yes, I'm going to have a tough time. I'm barely sleeping well because of all the stress. So much is coming at me at once. Tomorrow I'm getting my 20-week ultrasound, which is exciting because we're also going to find out the gender. My husband really wants to know.

Yeah, I'd love to believe that, and I guess you've got quite a belly by now, pff... well, S6 & it'll all probably loosen up

No experience with it, but I wish you lots of success!
Do you already have names in mind? I already found it hard to find just one.

Hi Calli, thanks! I was too stressed to focus on names, but my husband wanted to know the gender of the babies first before thinking about names. Today at 9 AM we had the 20-week ultrasound. It was quite nerve-wracking but so beautiful and special. I could hardly imagine that they were in my belly. They had grown well and everything looked good. However, they told me I needed bed rest and couldn't do anything anymore. So my husband and mother are coming to help me with the housework. My husband took time off and my mother comes 3 times a week to help me. I now have a pretty big belly and I get short of breath very quickly. We found out today that we're having 3 boys, so now my husband wants to think about names. Greetings, Silvana.

Wow, congratulations on the 3 little rascals!!! It must be quite something, but also very rich. Triple the fun! I'm curious what names you're going to come up with. Do you know if they're identical? So do they all look alike?

Wishing you lots of success and make sure to rest well.. You're halfway there, which is already positive!

    Lots of love, Hartje

Hi sweetheart, I was told that 2 of the babies are identical twins, and the third one is in its own sac. The other two share one sac and are identical. I hope I explained it correctly. Thanks again for your lovely message. Love, Silvana

Oh, I see that I typed too quickly on my mobile. Sorry for the sloppy sentences. Greetings, Silvana

And now calmly from the start. I mean, I hope I explained it clearly enough. Greetings, Silvana.

Sometimes my phone's keys don't work, hence the reason.

Silvana, maybe this will put your mind at ease... My grandma always used to say, it's better to have 2 (or 3) at once than one right after the other. She herself had twins and found that a thousand times easier than the two she had one after the other. They're all in the same phase, which makes it easier. But it'll definitely be busy the first few months. But once they can crawl, trust me, it only gets more fun!

Congrats with your three wonderful boys, looks great! We also have two boys here hehe (becoming mommies ).

Hi Linda, thank you! It's so nice that your mom had twins, and I'll keep in mind what she said about it being easier because they're all in the same phase. I feel a bit reassured now, thanks—it helps me get used to the routine more easily. And thank you, D.C.B., it's lovely that you also have boys. I've heard that boys tend to be more mama's boys and girls lean more toward their dads. Anyway, thanks, ladies, for your sympathy. It's really nice to see how you're supporting me and reassuring me that everything will work out. I just wanted to share this with you all. Greetings, Silvana

Of course, Sivana, if you can help each other out like that... you'd do that, right?

Hi Sylvana. I get what you mean. It's also really nice to have kind of "the same" kids. Enjoy your pregnancy as much as you can!!

    Love,

    Hi Silvana,

First of all, congratulations on your pregnancy. I can imagine it was quite a surprise, with three little sprouts in your belly instead of one!

    Are you Belgian or Dutch?
In Belgium, parents of triplets receive quite a bit of help. They are entitled to a full-time nanny and a part-time cleaner for the first three years.
In the Netherlands, I have no idea how it's organized, but I assume they also have some support system for multiples

Anyway, good luck with your pregnancy, I hope everything goes smoothly!

    Wow, that's amazing!
The latest Swell magazine was about a couple who already had 3 sons and then had a spontaneous triplet (3 girls).
