Ladies, what do you think of the name July for a girl? So, July the month but pronounced in an English way. Do you think it's nice or too unusual?

Hi ladies, I'm expecting a girl. My due date is January 3, 2014. My husband and I both like unique names that you don't hear often. We think the name July is really nice—like the month July but pronounced like the English "July." I was just wondering how does this name come across to others? How does it feel to you, and is it too unusual? Would love to hear your thoughts. Best wishes, Wanda

Nice name! I've come across him quite often. So I don't find him particularly special.

Thanks for sharing your opinion, Lynn. I mean, Igenliik, we don't really like those standard names you come across everywhere, like Emma, Brit, Romy, Lieke, that kind of name. With all respect to the parents who have given their children such names, of course. Igenliik, you pronounce it as "Julij" but you write "July". Greetings, Wanda.
