Hi there

Our little one is turning 8 months on the 20th. He's 72 cm and 9.3 kg, which is normal according to the CB.

First off, I'll mention that the little one has a cleft palate (a hole at the back of his soft palate). So far, he eats well for that. But here's the next thing:

It starts in the evening.
Around 5:30 PM he gets a bottle with warm milk, rice cereal, and whole grain porridge. Less than an hour later, he cries his heart out. For the next bottle, he finishes it all. At 8:45 PM, we give him another bottle to try and get through the night, but he doesn't manage it. He often wakes up several times during the night. He's usually awake at 6:00 AM, gets a little bit of porridge at 7:00 AM, sleeps a bit more around 10:30 AM, then has a slice of bread with butter, which he finishes completely. Between 2:00 and 3:00 PM he gets a fruit snack and something to drink (he also drinks after the bread). At 5:00 PM it's time for the baby food pouches, but that never goes smoothly; he often doesn't want them, even when freshly made. And then the evening routine starts again.

What can we do so that he actually eats his baby food pouches well and doesn't need so many bottles in the evening? Because if we don't offer them, he just keeps crying.

Maybe later, snack? It seems to me that they're quite close together, maybe with the fruit. Try earlier around 7 PM or if he cries for it himself?
