    No one?

    I don't know, you're probably very musical.
Need to get used to it.

That's true, we've been used to it for a long time so it's become a name for us. But I'd love to hear what others think of the name.

    I don't find it that beautiful :$
    Sorry!
But if it feels right, definitely go for it!

Always go by your own feelings, but I wouldn't choose it...

Yeah, it's a bit unusual and you never really hear it as a name, which is exactly why I asked. It's tricky; you want to give your child a nice name.

It's a really beautiful name. If you think it's a beautiful name, then you're right.

    Yeah, that's tricky too...
I know a boy named Rinke.
    It's pretty close, I think.

We absolutely love it, but what holds me back a bit is that rhythm is used quite often in everyday life. We're naturally paying extra attention to that now, haha. I also think it'll grow on you if the little guy is called that?

Well, girl, I’d just go for it! People get used to it naturally. You might have to repeat it twice for strangers, but don’t let it bother you. People talk anyway, no matter what

Thanks for your replies, it's nice to talk about it anyway! :-)

Sorry, I don't find it ugly, honestly. It's quite unique, at least original. No Tim, Piet, Jan, Sam. Sorry, with all respect to people who have those names, but I think they sound too much like a musical rhythm, like a machine. You can make a rhythm out of it, but then pronounce it in English. Greetings, Felicia

I'm joining in with Kruimel! Do what you feel like! Standard names are just standard, right? I myself have 2 sons, Deagon and Aiden.. also unique names and not everyone liked them but it's your child and sometimes a name just feels so right! So go for it! By the way, I think it's really beautiful in English!
