Hi ladies,
I have a little problem..
I'm due in 3.5 weeks with a girl and I just can't decide on a name.
Our first choice was and still is Mila..
But now, about 4 months ago, a girl I know (not really a friend) also gave birth and named her daughter Mila too...
So annoyingnn
Our second choice is Jula, also very beautiful.. but Mila keeps haunting my mind now that everything is getting so close. What do you think??

    If you're totally crazy about the first name, I'd just go for it! Especially if it's not a girlfriend or something.
    It's quite coincidental...but I wouldn't change the name because of that.
    It's a really nice name too, by the way!

    I’d go for your first name too!! It’s not for nothing that it’s your first choice; surely more girls will be called that, so be it! .. success

    I'd also go for that name if it's your choice! Idd so be it!
    I think Jula is nicer and more unique than Mila!

    Tough, how much do you hang out with her?

    We had this too. We had a name in mind from the start, and a month before the birth, a very good friend gave birth to a daughter with the same name. I cried a lot, you understand. But because we spend a lot of time with them, we chose a different name.

    Now we ended up having a son, but looking back, the newly chosen name fits us better.

    But anyway, it's definitely a girl with you. What do you think of Nila?? Good luck with choosing.

    P.S. I really like Mila! And judging by what you're saying, you haven't deviated from the name for months now, so just go with Mila!

    Thanks for all the replies.. I don't interact with them much myself.. but she's often at birthdays and parties of friends..
    So it's tricky.. and Lynn, as you say, Jula is a bit different, that's also true.. I've been hearing Mila more and more lately.. I don't like Nila so much.. sorry!!
    I think we'll go with Jula after all..

    I really think it's a super name! And if you both feel really good about it, I'd definitely go for it!!
    I wouldn't like it either if I knew someone had our name.
    Our daughter is already 5 months old and her name is Mana..
    I do like those names and Jula fits right in!

    What do you think of Djamila? Also very beautiful, and you can always shorten it to Mila.
