Pregnancy disclosure?

I'm really curious how you let your family and friends know about your pregnancy, or how you're planning to do it?

    Hey Chantal,

We haven't told our family yet because I'm only just 5 weeks pregnant today. But I am thinking about it. I'm going to give my mom a Pandora charm, I think a little pacifier one.
Maybe I'll also take an old T-shirt or just my belly to write something on. I don't know yet. Not so simple, right .
You think so hard about it, but when the time comes, I won't know exactly how to tell them either .

    Best,

I was 12 weeks pregnant with Sinterklaas last year and we always celebrate that with the whole family. I bought a photo frame and put a note in it saying: "You can't hear me yet, you can't see me yet, but once I'm born, can I maybe be in this frame? Love and greetings from my mom's tummy!" Wrapped up with a name card for everyone on it.

It was really fun haha everyone was super surprised (my parents already knew, of course).

We bought a little bear with a big tummy, put it in an open envelope with a card inside that says:

We’ve been crafting something at home
you know how it is.. A bit of magic, a bit of love, a bit of tinkering.
Together we’ve made something very special
And love has touched us deeply
And if you’re wondering what this creation could be?
Keep reading and you’ll discover our little secret...

I’ll still be hidden for about 8 months
Will you look after this cuddly toy until I can take care of him myself in a few months?
    Love, the little one

I'm now 6 months pregnant and told my parents by filling a plastic bag with rusks with mice in blue and pink, along with a little book 'grandpa and grandma, tell us'. We told my mother-in-law by having a puzzle made of the ultrasound. The reactions from both sides were really nice. I have to say that photo frame was a brilliant surprise. Super fun.

    All such lovely ideas!!
Unfortunately, it had to happen super fast last year My uncle passed away suddenly and I really wanted to go to the wake to say goodbye one last time.. but on that day, June 29th, I got a relieving answer already 3 months pregnant and since my parents, brother and sister were also the godparents of our girl and were going to Italy by car that same weekend for 14 days.. we had to tell them in a flash! I wanted them to know absolutely everything and also why I couldn't come to the wake anymore (due to the whole emotional journey I had behind me that week with the death and the uncertainty if we were pregnant or not ) so quickly the first ultrasound was scanned and typed: "Do you want to be my godmother?"
Then we also suddenly went to the rest of the family like the other godmother and my in-laws. My boyfriend had to tell everyone that day
I think it's quite a pity that we couldn't put more effort into it..
because we originally wanted, if we ever had a baby, to make a video of the first ultrasounds and then edit it with text saying "Do you want to be my godmother?" and "Hello grandma and grandpa " Unfortunately, it didn't work out for our first one. Hopefully, we can still use this method in the future
