Feeding

Hi Laura,
My experience with the CB (Child Health Center) is that they either wave away your worries when there actually is something wrong, or they get worried too quickly. My GP also calls the CB the "consternation bureau." I think that says it all. If I were you, I'd give the GP a call and share what the CB said.
I had a similar experience with my daughter regarding constipation when she was 2 months old. The CB brushed it off even when I had to show them the stool. I took her to the GP, who was furious with the CB because she was quite constipated and needed laxatives. Later, I mentioned that the back of her head seemed a bit flat. They said it was nothing. I then contacted a physiotherapist who checked her, and yes, the back of her head was quite flat. Our little one has always been a strong girl. In the end, she was 50 grams underweight for her age, so I had to feed her whatever she wanted and whenever she wanted. I didn't do that at first because people always say "you make eaters, you don't birth them."
Hopefully, my experience and story about the CB are helpful to you. So don't get too worried, and if you're unsure, just call your GP.
