help, not even with my husband's name. what do you think?

Hi ladies, my husband and I have known for a while now that we're expecting a girl. Very exciting, of course, and we're both over the moon. But since we found out we're having a girl, we've been looking for girl names, and he keeps coming back to just one. I think the name is weird and awful; he loves unique, he says. The name he wants to give our daughter is Indri. What do you all think?

    and indri pronounced as indrie oo I think it sounds so terrible and to my mind a bit too unique because he says he likes unique. I'd love to hear your opinions. Do you share my view or do you think it's nice? How does the name come across to you? To me, it seems so weird, but my husband loves it. Greetings, Belinda

    I've heard the name before, and I know a few Indis. Not too weird. But I don't find it beautiful either, haha This is something you guys have to figure out yourselves. You can't argue about taste... Keep trying to find a more beautiful one!

    Hi Marie Louise, thanks for your opinion. I don't know the name Indi either, it's not really my style, but I think Indri sounds even stranger than Indi.

    I personally don't think it's a beautiful name either.
    But that's something you two need to figure out together! Hope you can convince your husband!
