Hi! My little girl is almost 6 months old now; recently I've started a schedule for her regarding fruit and veggie meals. It goes like this: 07.00 180 ml & 1 tbsp rice flour 10.00 fruit 11.00/11.30 180 ml 15.00 180 ml 17.30/18.00 veggies 19.00/19.30 210 ml & 1.5 tbsp rice flour. Then she goes to bed, but lately she wakes up often at night so I can't sleep through haha. What's your schedule like and does anyone have tips for me on what I might do differently?

At our place it’s like this: (she just turned 5 months)
    07:00 bottle
    09:30 fruit
    11:00 bottle
    15:00 bottle
    17:00 veggies
    19:00 bottle with rice flour
    sleep

We have exactly the same problem. She used to sleep through the night (even at 6 weeks old), then came her 19-week leap, and since then sleep hasn’t been going so well. We also had to give night feeds again sometimes (haven’t done that for a while now). Now sleep is a bit better, but she’s waking up early these last few days (05:30), but she doesn’t eat until 07:00. And the last 2 days have been a disaster trying to get her to sleep.

During the day she’s very cheerful and there’s nothing wrong. You read so many different things online, then you don’t really know where to look.
I think it’s just a tough phase and she’ll start sleeping through again on her own.
If needed, you could ask the CBO, maybe they have drop-in hours?

    Strength and success

Saturday our little boy turns 5 months. Time flies, but it's such a joy.
His schedule so far is as follows.

    here 07:00 bottle 180 cc
    then around 11 o'clock 180 cc
in the afternoon half a jar of fruit and the whole is too much and a half hour later after it has settled a 90 cc bottle
then around 18 o'clock 180 cc and then against 21 o'clock with a spoonful of rice flour and he sleeps through that last one I never get pulled sometimes he gets it already at half past 8.

One more question, how best to do it with vegetables? And when to start?

Our little boy is just 5 months old now, and his schedule is completely messed up at the moment. At first he came every 3 hours, but now for the past few days it's suddenly every 2 hours, sometimes even 1 hour, and at night too, 2 to 3 times..I'm now around 12 feeds min. He also wants to suck every few times before he has to sleep, otherwise he won't fall asleep, he screams otherwise. Do you recognize this? Also jumping or teeth? He's also having trouble with that at the moment..greetings

Swallowing, I see now. I mean drinking. Hihi.. the tablet made it taste a bit different.

Our son is 5 months old.

Our feeding schedule is quite variable:

8:00 to 8:30 bottle 210/7 with 1 scoop of rice flour
    9:30 sleep until 11:00
    11:30 fruit (full jar)
12:30 bottle 180/6 with 1 scoop of rice flour
    13:00 sleep until 15:00
16:00 bottle 180/6 with 1 scoop of rice flour
    17:00 sleep until 17:45
    18:00 vegetables (full jar)
19:00 bottle 210/7 with 1 scoop of rice flour
    If he wakes up again
22:00 bottle 210/7 with 1 scoop of rice flour

Also a big eater... and active little one (so he changes a lot of diapers)

You guys still give quite a lot of bottles.

Ours wakes up around 9 am
    Bottle 180ml
Then she only eats whole grain porridge around 12
And then only fruit porridge around 4:30
And before she goes to sleep at 7, a flexible bottle of 150ml, and then she sleeps through until the next day.

But she's already been eating fruit porridge since 3 months.

Our girl is now 3 months old.
She wakes up around 7 am and drinks 210ml with 7 scoops.
Between 11 and 12 she eats about 160g of vegetable puree (for a week now) and then drinks a little bit more.
Between 3:30 and 4 pm she drinks another 210ml (we'll replace this bottle with fruit puree in about 3 weeks).
Her last meal is between 7:30 and 8 pm. A bit later she goes to sleep until the next morning...

Our daughter is just over 5 months old. She’s eating very inconsistently. We had a really nice routine for her, but a few weeks ago it fell apart. She barely wants to nap during the day anymore and is crying a lot.

We found out at 2 months that she had severe colic, so she’s on Nutrilon HA. Since then, things have improved a lot.
Until a few days ago, she had her last bottle of 180+6 at 9 PM and slept through until 9 AM. Now she keeps waking up around 5:30 AM.

    Her schedule is:
    5:30 180+6
    9:00 fruit snack (100g)
    9:30 150+5
    12:30 180+6
    3:00 PM 180+6
    5:30/6:00 PM veggie snack (150g) + 90+3
    8:00/9:00 PM 180+6
If we give her rice cereal, everything goes wrong again.

Sometimes she doesn’t finish her bottle, then asks for a small bottle later.
The problem is she won’t nap during the day even though she’s very tired. If we put her in her crib at the first signs of sleepiness, she screams. How do you handle that?

Wow, I thought reading along would help me. I also hoped to find some clarity and routine here, given the poor sleeping.
But, every child is different, that's clear!
Our daughter is 5 months and 1 week old.
The schedule is as follows and we follow it strictly:
    7.30 150+5
10.30 a few spoons of fruit
    11.30 150+5
    15.00 150+5
17.00 a few spoons of vegetables
    18.30 150+5
22.30 180+6 with sometimes a spoonful of rice cereal, but this shouldn't be daily!
Although this doesn't seem to help with sleeping through the night, that's my impression.
Bianca, our daughter also cried for a long time when I put her to bed. I now give her a sleep sack for every nap. During the day, with clothes on, a sleeveless sleep sack. For nighttime, a thicker one with a romper or pajamas. She now understands better what's expected. I also stayed next to her bed with her dummy. I let her scream; when she calmed down a bit, I gave her the dummy and said nothing. Often she'd start crying again a few times, and I'd sit there for 10 minutes, but it got less and less. Eventually, she grabbed the dummy in one go and turned her head.

hey wow, how often do you give them a bottle? and how late do they stay up? i was looking up whether i should supplement with milk after the veggie puree, she's 5 months old

for us it's 7am bottle of 220 cc, 12pm (for now) 100 grams veggie puree, 4pm 120 grams fruit puree, 7pm 220 cc milk, 8pm bedtime

    Hi Lisa

Kind and Care advised me not to give extra milk after the vegetable puree or at least not too much.

Around that age, they recommended giving half a liter of milk per day.
And definitely not more than 700 cl.

I asked about this because my daughter doesn't eat fruit puree well (80 to 90 grams per serving)
They suggested giving a bit more vegetables instead of milk.
We give 240 ml water + 8 scoops of formula in the morning and evening.
The morning bottle isn't always empty, but the evening one is.
