Is there a possibility..?

Hi..,

I've been on the contraceptive pill for about a month and a half, but it seems like it's not working very well..
Last week I noticed a bit of pinkish blood on two consecutive days.. I also had pretty severe period-like cramps.
I've had some symptoms for a while now, but now I'm wondering if it's due to the pill or if I took it incorrectly (which is possible) and that I'm pregnant.
One thing stands out..; pain in my lower back that sometimes radiates to my side, abdomen, and groin. I also have to pee a lot and have huge mood swings. The other symptoms are less intense, but I'm feeling nauseous, tired, etc.
Is there a chance I'm pregnant..?

Love, Lily.

The contraceptive pill can also cause symptoms itself, since it's a big dose of hormones that your body suddenly has to process. So they don't have to be pregnancy symptoms either. The bleeding (a mid-cycle bleed) is also normal while taking the pill. Wait out your break week and if you're unsure, take a pregnancy test after your break week. Good luck!
