Hey girls, I just need to vent my frustration. My partner and I have been trying for a baby for ages. This is round 10. I'm having all the symptoms, but after 22 pregnancy tests, they're still negative. I'm now 7 days late, but the tests keep showing negative. Has anyone had this experience???

xx, Ashley

    Hey Ashley,

I think all women go through this when they want to get pregnant. Don't test too much anymore, or it'll get expensive! Don't forget that once you stop the pill, your cycle can be all messed up! Sometimes it's very short, sometimes very long! Shortly after I stopped the pill, I always had a nice 28-day cycle, then it suddenly changed... My shortest was 24 days and the longest was 35, which was very frustrating! And also very hard to calculate my ovulation! Then, following my gynecologist's advice, I had intercourse every 2 days and it worked immediately! Also, sometimes the HCG level is too low (every woman is different). If you're still unsure, it's best to get a blood test. Good luck, Ashley!

    Bye

hey, it has nothing to do with the pill. I've been off the pill for 5 years already. I've always been regular until now. This is round 10 so I'm not really keeping track anymore. I'm 7 days late which doesn't make sense for me. I'm nauseous every day, have sore breasts, stabbing pains in my stomach, headaches, always tired and just want to sleep.

    Hey Ashley,

Those are clear pregnancy symptoms, you know.
Maybe you just have too little HCG in your urine; it increases every 3 days, but for some women, it takes months! I have a friend who went through the same thing; after almost 4 months, she knew she was pregnant.
So I recommend you get a blood test done; then you'll definitely get an answer to your question.

    Good luck, Ashley.

    Greetings

Hey girl, yeah I'll wait it out this week. If I don't get my period on Friday, I'll do a test on Saturday. If that's still negative, I'll call my GP on Monday. I've had cramps for 5 days now, like my period is coming, but no blood at all. So yeah, I still have to wait a bit.

Hopefully it's positive! And the first few weeks, which are actually months of pregnancy, you'll have the same symptoms as if you were going to get pregnant...

Pfffff bah. That's really an annoying feeling. But first, a positive test!!! I'll keep you posted, girls.

Ah Ashley, I know that drama all too well. That tension is really no fun. I really hope the test turns out positive. Take it easy for now, the pressure doesn't help. Let me know when you have news. Good luck.
