Hi, I'm Kimberly.

Is it normal to lose bright red blood when implantation is happening? A day before that, I had brown discharge. I'm so scared, already afraid that I might have a miscarriage.

Can someone explain more to me because I'm really not at ease :s
Please??
Greetings, Kimberly

    Hey Kimberly,

First of all, it depends on which phase of your cycle you're in. Are you around your ovulation, a bit after, or around your period?
If you're around ovulation and you're experiencing more bleeding (usually pink), then it's likely ovulation.
If you're a bit past ovulation and you have brown or pink bleeding (I'm not sure if it can also be bright red, you might want to check that), it could indeed be implantation bleeding.
If you're due for your period, it could just be your period.

I wouldn't worry too much about a miscarriage if you're experiencing bleeding. I had that with the pregnancy of my daughter Angel, but it turned out to be because my hCG levels weren't really picking up. The test only became positive after 5 months, and in the meantime, I kept getting my period. I was really worried, but Angel is perfectly healthy, there were no issues at all during birth, and she's almost 2 now.

    Let me know!
    Love, Dewi.

Hey, thanks for putting my mind at ease a bit. It just feels really weird that I'm already experiencing bright red bleeding. It's not normal, I haven't even gotten my period yet Or should I not have gotten it yet? Greetings.

I think it's probably implantation, but I wouldn't get too hopeful. You never know.

    Hi

Yes, I think so too, and I did a test and there was a very faint line on the pregnancy test, and yes, there was a lot of bright red bleeding which worries me, and cramps exactly like the sponge you squeeze out, that pain I have in my uterus, is that normal? X
    Kind regards, Kimberly

If the test shows a line, even if it's very faint, you're pregnant. It could indeed be implantation bleeding. I didn't have much stomach pain myself, but that varies from woman to woman and even from pregnancy to pregnancy. So there's no need to worry about anything.
