Am I being made fun of?

Hi everyone,
as you can probably tell, I'm new here, like everyone else with a reason.

Just a short explanation;
my partner and I are busy trying to get pregnant, but it's not easy because I have PCOS.
However, I took Clomid for the second time this month. We also had intercourse on my fertile days.
My period started on September 7th and ended on September 10th. My ovulation was about 10-14 days later. We had intercourse every other day during this period. On September 10th, I started Clomid again, which was the second round.
It's now September 30th and I've been showing some 'symptoms' since yesterday, and I'm not sure what to expect.
These symptoms include:
- Pain/soreness on the sides of my breasts
- Very hard nipples almost all day (sometimes they tingle)
- Yesterday I had some very strange discharge, white and, in my opinion, a bit wet.
- Also, people have pointed out that I stare and sometimes seem completely lost in my own world.

I don't know what this means myself and haven't experienced this before. Not before or during my period.

Is my body playing tricks on me, or is my period coming?
Who can tell me more about this? I'd also love to hear your experiences.

Greetings, Abbyss

    Hi there!

Are you not getting follicle scans? Do you know for sure if you actually ovulated? I'm also using Clomid, currently on round 3 with 150mg, but through follicle scans I've found out that Clomid doesn't work for me; no eggs are growing. I also have PCOS.

I had those side effects you mentioned too, after the 50mg, but it turned out to be nothing.. Hopefully you're pregnant, do a test soon so you'll know.

Hi Crumb, thanks for your reply!

Well, it's all a bit vague. I had a blood test a month ago, and it showed that I had ovulated. This month they did an ultrasound to check for ovulation again, and then they saw that it was gone. They also said that if I haven't started my period by the 7th (October), I should take a test.

But it all feels a bit weird. I'm also going to see another gynecologist because I've moved, and my current one is 250 km away haha.

I have an appointment on the 17th of October. If nothing has happened by then, they'll monitor my ovulation this time.

    What exactly are follicle measurements??

    Love,

Hmm, that's weird, yeah. So you have to wait a bit until next Monday to test! Exciting.
Oh, the follicle measurement is the internal ultrasound.. Then they measure your follicles (egg sacs) every few days to see if they're growing (:

How many mg of Clomid was that for you?

Oh yeah, well, last week I had an internal ultrasound. They only checked if my egg sac was gone or something, at least that's how I understood it.

This was the second time with 50 mg. They said I did respond to it.

Next week, as I said, I have to go back. They're going to make some kind of step-by-step plan because they want to move on to IUI.

But first, I need to undergo some tests, especially since they saw a month ago that I had fluid in my uterus.

I hear that every gynecologist uses different methods, and I keep hearing different stories and things from other girls...

Well, they’re going to do that because my partner isn’t home every month and they think it’d be better that way. Although, if I turn out to be this pregnant, they’ll be wrong haha.
I’m going to take a test on Monday, and I’ll definitely let you know then.
Also if more symptoms come up.
But it could also just be my period coming, I guess. Though I wouldn’t feel it the same way as I do now.
LEO, I’ve never heard of that either. What exactly does it help with and what does it treat?
Do they have more follow-up plans for you or is it still wait-and-see?

Oh yeah, then IUI is indeed easier! Hopefully it won't be necessary hehe! Have you been trying for a long time?

My ovaries are just completely full, which causes too many hormones to be released, and because of that, the ovary thinks there's one big egg, but that's not the case. Or something like that And LEO treatment removes the excess follicles, so the remaining follicles have room to grow..

It's definitely waiting time for me now. I'm on day 2 of Clomid now. Don't think it's going to work.. I have my first ultrasound next Tuesday. Then I'll discuss the next steps right away.
