What do you think of the girl's name Fim?

When you say it, doesn't it sound too much like the boy's name Finn?

Not fun, but I don't really like the short names these days. You can't tell from the name whether it's a boy or a girl, which I find inconvenient. Later on, in class or at sports clubs, etc., I don't think it'll be pleasant for her. And sometimes I experience this at work too when emailing; I don't want to have to figure out how to address customers as "Dear Sir/Madam" again if the name is unclear to me. I'd go for a name that's clearly identifiable as male or female.

Oh, I actually don't think so at all! When I hear Fim, I immediately think of a tough girl..
I find this much better than the crazy combination of letters they call names nowadays..

He's definitely unique and very original, but not my taste. What do you think of, for example, Fina?

Just wanted to add that, honestly, it doesn't sound like a name to me. It sounds more like a brand of cleaning product or something. Sorry, that's just how it sounds to me. But you do have something unique that way. The nice thing is that it's not very common. So, if you like short names, what do you think of Senna or Miera?

I totally agree with Felicia... I was just thinking about it too... cleaning products... And outside of that, a lot of people don't think about it when the little one grows up and has to apply for jobs... I thought the name Sterre was beautiful, for example. Yeah, it's nice when they're little. But not when they're adults.
