I really want to let my heart out here for once! Here we go;
Last Monday I did two pregnancy tests, one regular and one Clear Blue. Both were positive. The CB even indicated 2 to 3 weeks. On Tuesday I went to the gynecologist who saw a thickening of the uterus. He said there were 3 possibilities; too early, miscarriage, or ectopic.. Just had a big panic until yesterday.
Yesterday I called the gynecologist for my blood test results and he told me that my values were above 400 and that I need to have blood drawn again on Monday to see if the values have risen or not...
Am I pregnant or not?! Sometimes I feel like I'm imagining it all and that it's too good to be true.. Should I take it easy now or what do you guys recommend?

Greetings Steffy

    I can give you one tip, as hard as it is; wait and see! And wait until you have a rash and the values are probably higher... When do you hear this?

    I hope for a good result!

    Monday morning I have to get my blood drawn, and later that day I need to call for the results x

    That sounds exciting... I hope you get some clarity soon.
    By the way, I never really took it easy during my pregnancies; I just kept doing the things I always did.
    Do what feels right to you—if taking it easy is what you need, then do that...

    Just back from the hospital. My levels are now around 1000. The gynecologist thought this was a bit low, but... the gestational sac was visible! It was a bit of a relief, really. As long as I don't get any bleeding, everything should be fine. That stupid level... now I was relieved, but now I'm worrying again :s

    @sssteffy.v,

    That's so frustrating that it's still not completely clear whether you are or aren't pregnant..
    It's really tough waiting like that. I hope you're pregnant and can start enjoying it instead of dealing with that uncertainty..

    The downside is that my gynecologist still hasn't told me how many weeks I am, so I can't really compare with a chart. I'd guess around 5 weeks, but I'm not sure.

    @sssteffy.v,

    I'd get on the phone first thing tomorrow morning and call to be sure...

    Wishing you strength.

    Let me know what's going on. I hope you're pregnant...

    Hi, sorry I didn't say anything sooner I've been a bit busy.
    I've changed obstetricians in the meantime. I first asked for a second opinion with her. Since she works at the same hospital as my first obstetrician, she was able to access my file and reviewed it. I learned quite a bit from that.. My first obstetrician hadn't told me my correct values?! The initial values were around 400 last week, and shortly after he said they were only 1000, while my file showed they were 1800!! That's quite a difference, isn't it? Then my other obstetrician had me get another blood test, and my values were around 3000. It wasn't exactly doubled, but she still thought it was a nice increase, and I absolutely shouldn't worry.. I have to go back to her on Monday for a new ultrasound, and then we should see more. I'm really looking forward to it!

    Good luck today with the ultrasound, Steffy... It's exciting, I'm curious! :-)

    Had my check-up this afternoon. Everything was tip-top. A tiny little baby of 4 mm was visible in the gestational sac with a little heartbeat. Got my purple box with all kinds of info and stuff... Next ultrasound is on 22/10. Should be 6 weeks and 1 day.

    That's so, so, so exciting for you!! I always find it awful when I hear stories about gynecologists who don't do their job properly...

    Anyway, fingers crossed, now let that belly grow, eh
