Romy
We want to name our boy Leenert(d), but we're not sure if it's spelled with a t or a d.

Leenert, otherwise they might call him a nerd later on, and that wouldn't be so nice.

I'd also go with the T, otherwise you'll indeed get a Nerd..

It's going to be Lenny :-)
And yes, Wednesday is the big day, they're bringing our little man into the world via C-section.

    Exciting, Romy!
It's nice that you let us know what it ended up being, such a lovely name!
Good luck with the final touches.

Let us know how your birth and surgery went, okay? Love, heart, and good luck!

    Jip, I definitely will.
I'm already in the room in the hospital. The IV has been inserted, blood has been drawn, there's 45 minutes of monitoring, and then they'll shave me soon :-/
They'll wake me up early tomorrow at 6:30, and an hour later, it's go time.

Everything went perfectly. He was out in 10 minutes. It took about 30 minutes to stitch up my belly. Currently, I don't really have pain from the wound, only the afterpains are sometimes annoying. Also breastfeeding is working, not always successful yet, but every little bit helps.

BV needs time to get going, don't worry too much about it. You'll need a lot of patience at first, but you're doing it for your baby's health. Best wishes, Marion

I meant, for example, breastfeeding takes time to get going. I wrote too hastily. BF comes more and more as you nurse your baby often. Remember, it's only for a few months. It's beautiful that you have that for your baby because it does take some time, but all of that is for your baby's health. With BF, you give your baby the best start.

and he'll benefit from it his whole life. Don't give up, for example, breastfeeding was something I had to figure out at first too, but it gets better and better as long as you remember why you're doing it and have patience—lots of patience. And breastfeeding is probably the most important thing, for example, it strengthens the bond between mother and child for their whole life. Wishing you lots of luck with your baby and a super beautiful name. Greetings, Marion

Congratulations on the little man, Romy. Hopefully, you'll recover quickly and be able to enjoy even more of everything!!

And she also says that everything is going well, Marion.....

Yes indeed... It's great that you're breastfeeding, and you don't have to do it for just a few months; you can do it for a year or even longer. I've been doing it for 10 months now, and it's super because I'm giving her the best I can. It's also good for bonding... And just a quick question about shaving, what exactly did you mean by that? Do you need to shave for a C-section?

Love, enjoy it and rest well.

Yeah, they shave everything away right up to just below the bikini line. There wasn’t much there anyway, but still.
