Time is running out, doubt is setting in...

I'm 39 weeks pregnant, we're having a daughter, and after some hesitation on my part, we decided to name her Annemarije... The hesitation came from the fact that my sister is named Marije, and I wondered if that wouldn't be weird. Now, a week before the due date, I'm starting to doubt again izzy:. The silly thing is that I'm mainly wondering what others (family, friends) think of it...

So a question to you all: do you think it's weird that we're naming our daughter Annemarije when the name Marije is already in the family?

P.S. I have a very good relationship with my sister; we've shared many beautiful adventures together, and she's always supported me through thick and thin, so in that sense, it's also nice that our little one will be named after her after all.

    I’d be honored if my niece were named that (I’m Marije)! You think the name is beautiful and want to give your daughter that name. So it doesn’t matter what others think!

    It's nice to get a response from a 'Marije'! And maybe it's the hormones too...
    I should really think, we find it a beautiful name and 'don't care what others think'!

    But somewhere in the back of my mind, something still nags at me, and maybe I just have to accept that it'll only go away once she's born and her name is given.

    I guess they’re not gonna keep us waiting much longer, so I don’t think there’s time to change it anymore, unless I’m way off... Lost a mucus plug tonight and things are getting restless..

    If you're asking for my opinion, I don't think it's weird at all, and it's really beautiful, especially since you have such a close bond with your Suz. I would definitely do it because you might regret not giving her that name.
