Babbles
new relationship/pregnant after a violent relationship..
AnonymousGuest ·
Hi everyone.
I have a son who's almost four. I've been apart from my ex (the father of my child) for a little over a year and a half. We broke up because there was domestic and emotional abuse. The relationship lasted over ten years. It took a long time for me to leave that relationship. And afterwards, I had to work hard on myself because my self-esteem was zero/none.
Now I've been in a relationship with a lovely man for almost 9 months. Unfortunately, I often compare situations. Even though I absolutely don't want to.
I'm almost 11 weeks pregnant but so insecure. I think this comes from my previous relationship.
Does anyone know this? Because I'm going crazy from the insecurity. It's breaking me down. I don't want to be led by my ex anymore because he's used me like a puppet for so many years! Not literally now, but still.
And besides, it's unfair to my new relationship. He's doing his best but he's also struggling with this!
Do you have any advice..?
