Hi everyone,

I'm 35 and hoping for my third baby. On August 14th, I got a positive ovulation test. Six days later, I had brown discharge that lasted about 4 days (very light, with some red here and there). I've been feeling really nauseous for a week now and have lost my appetite. My breasts and areolas have gotten bigger, and I've had yellowish discharge for a few days. I've taken several tests in the last few days (Kruidvat 2 for 5), but they've all been negative!

Has anyone else experienced this??????

    Hi kimmie35

    When was the first day of your last period?
    From then, you count about 1 month, and only then can you take a test. So if you had your period on July 1st, you can only take a test starting August 1st. Got it? Not earlier.

    Thanks for your reply! The first day was July 27th, but I have a long cycle. I'm pretty sure ovulation was on August 14th or 15th. Yesterday or today should have been my period, but there are no signs yet. I feel so weird, but the test remains negative. I'll test again over the weekend. Are you also trying to get pregnant?

    Hi anonymous!

    Oh, I think you really should take the test again over the weekend. But do it in the morning, so don't drink anything first, just test right away.

    I'm 6 weeks pregnant myself now. I'm soooo tired and have some mild nausea and dizziness.

    I hope you're pregnant too! It's such a lovely experience!!!

    Congratulations!!! How wonderful!
    I'm so glad you replied. I think this forum is very quiet, isn't it!?

    It's all so strange. I tested with ovulation predictor tests:

    Aug 14: strong positive test and we had sex
    Aug 16: very faint line and we had sex
    Aug 18: omo white
    Aug 21: very faint positive ovulation test
    Aug 23: faint positive ovulation test
    Aug 25: strong positive test

    On Aug 20, I had some light brown discharge and a bit of clear blood (when wiping). Since then, I've also been nauseous, no desire for cigarettes (I suddenly quit after years because I find them disgusting!?), absolutely no appetite for food, larger breasts and blue veins.

    Still no period yet, and the test this morning was still negative. Grrr, I don't understand anything anymore!! Strange because I'm now 14/15 days past ovulation!

    I've completely lost track of time
    Still not on my period, but since my ovulation took place on August 14th, 15th, or 16th, I'm therefore 2, 3, or 4 days late.
    Tested again this morning with first morning urine (Kruidvat 2 for 5) but it's still blank.
    Pfff... I'm going crazy!

    No, Kimme35 didn't know when her ovulation was!
    She had irregular cycles! And so she hadn't had her period for a while (even before she got pregnant). At first, she didn't think she was pregnant at all because she hadn't had her period for a while... but she did suspect something because she felt her body changing, including in her belly, so she did a blood test.

    Thanks for your reply, Coppola! Still nothing here. I’ve been thinking about it again..
    I had a positive ovulation test on Aug 14. And on Aug 16 only a very faint line. So it’s possible that on Aug 15 the test would have been even more positive (I didn’t test that day).
    If ovulation then occurred within 72 hours, that could have been Aug 17. Then bleeding 3 days later.
    That would mean I’m only 3 days late now. Last tested last Saturday (which would have been NECESSARY). Hmm, maybe I should try another test this week after all?

    Hi, I also know someone who had implantation bleeding more than a week before her due date, and it lasted 4 days. On days 1 and 2, it was just a little brownish discharge, on day 3 there was a lot of red blood, and on day 3 there was a little bit of brownish discharge. She tested 2 days before her due date and it was negative, then she tested again on the day of her due date and it was also negative. Is that normal, and when should she test again?

    Hi.

    I also had sex during my fertile days. A week before my period, I had bleeding for 2 days but only used 2 pads. They weren't even full. I tested after those 2 days, so yesterday was negative. My last period was from Dec 4 to Dec 8, and then again from Dec 30 to Dec 2. I am feeling a bit tender and sometimes have lower back pain. Occasionally a bit nauseous, otherwise nothing. When should I test again? Could this mean pregnancy?

    Yes, you can test from the day your period is due. That's usually 14 days after ovulation. So you could test from September 29th.

    I tested positive 10 days after ovulation, but it can still go wrong before your period starts.

    Hi there, I had my period around December 27th, and it ended on Jan 1st or 2nd. I still haven't gotten it now. I do have some brown discharge sometimes, which has been going on for 2 or 3 days now. Usually, when I get my period, I have painful breasts, they feel more sensitive... I had that too during the brown discharge, but now the sensitivity in my breasts is decreasing. I'm completely confused, what could this be? My last pregnancy test was 5 days ago. I don't want to hope too hard because we've been trying for a year and 5 months... and only recently have we been trying regularly. Can anyone help me??? Best regards

    Today, 8 days after artificial insemination, I've had sore breasts. Last night I couldn't sleep on my stomach because my boobs were hurting so much. Now they're just sensitive. I'm also very emotional. I didn't want to eat shawarma; I found the garlic sauce too spicy.

    I also have a feeling that I'm about to get my period, but it feels slightly different... It's hard to describe. What could it be?

    Could it be late implantation?
