AngelSounds-at home listening to the baby yourself

Hi,

I bought an AngelSounds device a couple of days ago to listen to the baby's heartbeat at home.
It always gives me peace of mind since I still don't feel the baby at 19 weeks.
When you're listening to the heartbeat, you can also hear when the baby moves.
Really recommend it.

Best,
Debj

    Hey Debj,

    Nice little device, huh

I bought one too and started listening from 12 weeks onwards…

Until the last day of my pregnancy!

Those were cozy moments for me, and I’ve currently lent it to a friend of mine who’s also pregnant, and she enjoys it every day too.

Wishing you lots of strength with your pregnancy

    Greetings

    Hi,

Yes, there's not a day that goes by without me listening to it
I didn't know this existed at first, but then I found something on a forum where you could buy it yourself, and then I started looking for something like that and found it.

But I'm very happy with it

How much do they cost roughly?
  5. N. Coppola #6

49.50€ a bit expensive but worth it especially if you're planning to have more kids and you can always resell them...
If you're from Belgium, I've seen them on the 3Suisses site for 30€

Thank you! Yes, definitely, if you see the security it gives you, it's definitely worth it. Too bad I didn't think about it earlier during my last pregnancy.

    I paid less for mine.
It depends on which site you buy them from.

I bought them from Premaman back then, and yeah, everything's expensive there, right!

I bought mine through a website. It cost around €29.95 or something like that.

Oh my, if only I had known!
But yeah, no regrets... pregnancy hormones, you know. Even if it cost 100€, I would’ve bought it anyway hhihi

Hehe yeah, as long as you can hear the baby

I bought that one early in my pregnancy too. Now I don't really use it anymore because I feel the baby all the time. But when I couldn't feel her yet, I used it... it's lovely to hear her little heartbeat.

Yeah, I get that, but I don’t feel the baby yet, so for now it’s handy for me
Because yesterday I suddenly got a sharp stab in my belly, and got a bit worried, so when I got home I immediately started using that little device hihi

So then I’m relieved again when I hear the heartbeat. But as you say, if you already feel the baby kicking, that’s also a sign that everything is okay

Hi. From how many weeks can you hear the heartbeat using a fetal doppler? Greetings

    Hi,

I think it's different for everyone.
I only bought it at 19 weeks, so maybe I could have heard it earlier too.
But according to some forums, there are people who can hear it around the 14th week.

On the box for the AngelSound it says you can hear it from 12 weeks, and I could hear it from 12 weeks too.

I just bought mine too. I'm 18 weeks now and I've found the heartbeat every time. I visited a friend yesterday who is 12 weeks along, and we tried to find the heartbeat there, but unfortunately, we couldn't find it yet!

It's really a great little device. I've heard stories that the radiation could be harmful to the baby. Do you think this is true?

Read that everyone here finds it reassuring to have an Angel Sound. That it’s a confirmation for the ladies that everything is okay with the baby. I don’t want to worry anyone, but a heartbeat only means the baby is alive. A baby should have so many beats per minute.

    @trotsemama

I only used it for fun... I know how the heartbeat should sound and what's normal... and I just loved hearing it once a week..
Now I don't use it anymore because I can feel it...

You should also use it for fun... if something seems off and you're doubting, then call your midwife or gynecologist... sometimes you can't find the heartbeat and then you get really worried....
