Hi ladies.

I'm now 3 months pregnant and my belly is itching like crazy. Who else has this? Xx

I had that too with my first pregnancy. Drinking lots of water and really moisturizing your belly with body lotion or, for example, Weleda’s pregnancy oil helps.

@lza. Ohh okay, thank you so much. How many weeks are you now?

I had it too... I just scrubbed twice a week and used the Etos mama cream. Twice a day... I definitely didn't end up with any stretch marks. But it varies from person to person, of course.

    Hey Chahida,

First of all, big congratulations on your pregnancy

I agree with Iza and Lenita.

Keep your belly well moisturized with cream against stretch marks, but itching actually means your belly (skin) is tearing open.

I used Mustella stretch mark cream back then, but it's really a personal choice.

I always used to rub myself 2 or 3 times on my belly, but unfortunately I was so focused on my belly that I forgot my buttocks and between my buttocks. I now have some light stretch marks there, but luckily none on my belly.

    Good luck!

Thank you! :-) Oh yeah, it's really intense, huh? Hihi. This is also my first pregnancy, so I noticed that my belly suddenly started itching a lot. Thanks for the tips, I'll definitely try them out right away. Xx. Are you still pregnant or have you already given birth??

@Lenita29. Thank you. I'll definitely use all the tips. How far along are you in your pregnancy? Xx

Neen Chahida, my son is almost 10 months old now. Next summer I definitely want to go for my second (I'm already looking forward to it)

Personally, I think your itching started quite early; it usually begins around week 16 or 20.

You're going to have a proper baby bump, hahaha!

I gave birth to a daughter via C-section on August 4th.....

Only now I still need to lose the weight... But that's a different story....

But scrubbing is also ideal. Especially against the itching... and I always found that Etos mama cream so cooling afterwards. I always had itching at night.. so yeah I ended up showering often at night (also had trouble sleeping) But do you have it all day through or only late in the evening??

    @Lenita,
    you're still a brand-new mom, big congrats!
And about your weight, give yourself some time, enjoy your little angel right now, okay?
I had that itch all day long! And yes, sleepless nights—I had them from day 1 of being pregnant, and now that I'm a mom, I've become a zombie hahaha I'm so tired!!!!

    Greetings

Thank you! And I'm definitely enjoying it! Sometimes I just don't realize it's my daughter.....

Oh, that's tough.. I know that feeling of exhaustion so well.. and those rotten nights.... I eventually switched to that Pickwick tea.. good night's sleep.. It helped a little bit. And yes, as I said before.. showering at night. That made me sleepy too. And then I'd happily lather myself up.

But you don't have any rash? Red spots?

My son is currently in his teething phase, so yeah, he wakes up a lot during the night, and yeah, his stupid dummy!!!!

Yeah, I drink tea or something! I'll have to wake up anyway, so I'll just be even MORE cranky.
You mean the rash from that cream? No, I didn't have any issues with it, but if you did, it probably means your skin couldn't handle it!

I mean, do you have a red rash? I didn’t have it, just itching. And I don’t have any allergies to creams. But I believe that red spots/bumps could indicate pregnancy cholestasis
