Hi ladies!!!!
I'm now 6 weeks and 2 days, and I've known for two weeks! It's just that... I can only talk about it and want to read and look up everything! I'm also happy when everyone finally gets to know!!!
I can't wait for my belly to show up, and not to forget my first ultrasound next week!!!
Love, Roos

Hi Roos, that's exciting! I'm pregnant with my third now, but the first time is always the most special! Enjoy it!

    Hi Roos,

Congratulations on your pregnancy! I’m still only a week behind you in being pregnant myself. I’m now (probably 4 weeks and 5 days).
I totally relate to what you wrote about wanting to know and tell. My husband probably gets a bit annoyed with me (but the brave fighter doesn’t know that). It’s Lassie (he’s as big as a grain of rice) and Lassie after. Wonderful!
I find it all quite exciting. The chance of a miscarriage is quite big.

Most likely you’ll also be an April mama, right?

    Xx

I'm also 6 weeks pregnant here and found out 2 weeks ago. We've already told people. I'm not good at keeping it to myself, this is my 3rd pregnancy. I have one beautiful daughter and one miscarriage. Because of that, I know that once you tell people, you get support from those who know.

Other than that, everything seems to be going well this pregnancy, but wow, it's so exciting.

Hi gjk, yes indeed, an April mom, and I was also born in April and I'm turning 30, so I can't get a better gift, right!!

Hi Kim, we only told our parents, sister, and best friends. Otherwise, I have to keep quiet until after the holiday, then I'll get my official first ultrasound... Because I scheduled the ultrasound for next week because I want to know if everything is okay before my vacation!

    Girls, it's exciting, isn't it!!!

    First of all, congratulations!
It’s totally normal, I had it too. I could’ve shouted it from the rooftops, and it felt like my head was full of cotton, with only the words “baby” and “pregnancy” getting through..

Now I’m pregnant with the second one, and it’s a bit less intense, but I still need to take it easy, haha.
  6. kim #7

Dreamer haha. Here too, it's the second one but I still can't keep my mouth shut, maybe because we've been at it for quite a while.

How are you feeling otherwise? Any ailments etc??
I'm extremely tired. I think I could sleep for whole days. Besides that, I get nauseous and have heartburn now and then. My breasts are very sore. And sometimes there are sharp pains lower in my belly. I googled it. And it seems to be round ligament pain.

We have the ultrasound on Sept 10th. So before you know it, it's already that time, but it still feels so far away.

    Hi Kim,

Didn't you open a forum with the topic due in April or something? I can't find it!

    Xx

For my NOD, I really felt all sorts of things. I was a bit tired around and right after my NOD. But now... almost nothing! Lots of noises come from my belly, but I don't have any issues with that. My left nipple is quite sensitive, the right one a bit. Sometimes I think: I wish I had more symptoms, because sometimes I almost forget that I'm pregnant. I read everywhere that having so few symptoms is no big deal. So we just hope for the best!

Haha... so relatable! With the first one, we only found out after 3 months, so we could tell everyone right away. Now I'm 31 weeks pregnant with the second and we knew from the start... right after the first scan we told grandma's, grandpa's, our little son, sister & great-grandfather!! They were over the moon. After 12 weeks we told the rest. Work, family, friends, etc.
I can keep my mouth shut really well now, we already have a beautiful name for our second little one. My husband came up with it. Tomorrow is the last growth scan and then we'll wait a bit until our little man announces himself

I had sore nipples in the first few weeks when I was in denial, felt dizzy, but now I don’t have any of that anymore—just loads of zits!!
Still really nervous for Tuesday evening, the first ultrasound, then I’ll be 7+2. Hoping to see a heartbeat!
After that, off on vacation, and when we’re back, everyone will know! Such a nice feeling!!
Oh, and this morning I did another Clearblue test… It’s kind of fun that it now says 3+, you know it still works, and testing is just so much fun to do!

I’ve got those pimples too, actually. Yes, very annoying. I have them on my face and on my chest. A bit of a shame ;-)
  12. GJK #13

I actually have those bumps too, yes. Very annoying. I have them on my face and on my décolleté. A bit of a bummer ;-)
  13. kim #14

Oh yeah, I also had some pimples here—not super many on my face (but a little bit), but definitely on my décolletage, that one was really there.

With my previous pregnancies, I had no symptoms either. With the first one, there was really nothing, and it wasn't going well. With my daughter, there was nothing for the first 13 weeks, then it started. Nausea, light bleeding, acid reflux. Calf cramps. Everything and more, haha.

Hi ladies, I'm also 6 weeks pregnant here and WOW TIME FLIES BY SO FAST!!!!!

Yesterday one of our best friends came to visit us and I couldn't keep my mouth shut. So while the guys were outside smoking, I told my friend that I'm pregnant. When my husband came back inside, I told him that I'd told my friend, and then her husband reacted that they're pregnant too!!! (my friend had to really keep her mouth shut from her husband )

    OMG we're exactly 1 week apart!!! We're 6 weeks, she's 5 weeks pregnant........

I also can't find the April forum

Sweetie, that's lovely. Still a surprise then. And can you share it beautifully together? Wishing you both a wonderful pregnancy.

Mothers for mothers. Iom vk, we decided not to do it this time. Wish everyone super though. But with my previous pregnancy, I forgot it all the time so nothing really came of it. And that smell wasn't normal either; if you weren't nauseous yet, you'd still get it. But anyway, my reason for not doing it was mainly because I forgot it anyway and it had no use.
  17. kim #18

    Here today, 6+4 weeks pregnant.
Had a lot of pain in my belly and this morning during a toilet visit, slight bleeding. It feels like the ground is being pulled out from under your feet. Just got a call from the hospital. They said there's not much to see on an ultrasound yet, and that I should probably wait it out. Because the little one is growing really hard right now. Can I come in on Tuesday? That's of course super nice, but I still have to wait so long. This feels really awful, bah.
  18. GJK #19

Oh gatsie, Kim! I can imagine this makes you feel super insecure. Could it be related to your pregnancy? I’ve read that (light) bleeding can also be a symptom. Has the bleeding stopped by now? I hope so for you! I’m rooting for you!

I also had severe abdominal pain last night. I couldn’t sleep at all. And then I started worrying about it, and then I couldn’t sleep at all. It’s all so exciting!
  19. kim #20

Yeah, I had that too last night. I thought, well, as long as there's no bleeding, it'll be fine. And then it happened.

Now it's sometimes after going to the toilet, sometimes not. Still having some discomfort in my belly.
Wish it was already Tuesday afternoon.
