Does anyone have an answer to my question?

Hi!

I have a question and I hope someone here can answer it. I stopped the pill in October. I got my period in November and then didn't get it again until April. After that, I had 4 periods with cycles of 23 and 24 days. Sometime in June I should have gotten my period, but it hasn't come yet. I started using ovulation tests and according to them, I ovulated twice, but still no period. The last positive ovulation test was on July 13. Does anyone know what's going on? I called my GP after the first positive test, but she said it would come on its own and I shouldn't worry too much about it, which I'm not doing either.

I hope someone has an answer...

Best wishes!!

Hi, it can take up to 6 months for your cycle to return to normal. But have you thought about taking a pregnancy test? :-)

Did it this morning... but I find it weird that an ovulation test was positive twice, once in June and once in July, but no period is coming. I've been off the pill for 9 months now.

    Best,

It's totally possible that your ovulation test is accurate! Some women have very light or irregular periods but still ovulate every month.
A lot of moms who are breastfeeding and not having their period experience this too.

So you could still be pregnant or become pregnant!

After I stopped the pill, I had two fairly regular periods on time. Then, for three quarters of a year, nothing. I waited for my period and suddenly found out I was pregnant, even though I hadn't had a period. It was amazing because I was afraid it wouldn't work out since I hadn't had a period.

I don't know about ovulation without bleeding, but having a very irregular cycle doesn't mean it won't work out.
Good luck, hopefully it's granted to you soon.

There's still hope!! Thanks for your reply. Have you given birth yet or are you still enjoying being pregnant? Greetings

Having given birth to a son who is now almost a year and a half old.

And if not, just go back to the GP. If you don't feel well, that's what they're there for. If you're already more reassured, that helps too. Good luck!
