Hi everyone

I already have a tattoo of a butterfly and now I'd really like to add the initials of our kids to it?

What do you all think about this? My neighbor says it makes her think of deceased people, which is why I'm asking. I know it's my decision, but I'm curious how others feel about it.

    When I get to have a baby someday, I'm going to get a tattoo too. I already know exactly what and where hehe! Even if I have multiple kids, I don't want to just do it for one

    I think it's beautiful! I find a symbol (like a little butterfly with letters/initials) more personal and pretty than the full name written out.

    My boyfriend wants to get a tattoo as soon as our baby is born. I feel like if you add the birth date, it looks like the person has passed away. Just the name, though, I think is totally doable and really beautiful!!

    I always wanted a tattoo with my child's name. I thought about it throughout the whole pregnancy. She's almost 3 months old now, and I got the tattoo when she was 1 month old. I'm super proud of it. I got it on my forearm.

    I'm going back on my earlier comment that I don't find the full names that pretty, hehe! Really cool!

    I already have a tattoo just below my neck on my spine, a small Chinese character meaning family/family unit. I got it done together with my parents and siblings because we have a very close-knit family.
    Now I'd really like to get a symbol added for each important moment/person in my life, I'm thinking of the zodiac sign or name in Chinese characters. So that over the years I'll have a beautiful line along my entire spine with the most important people in my life!
