Hi.
I’ve been off the pill for 2 months and had unprotected sex with my boyfriend 2 weeks ago.
My periods are very irregular—sometimes lasting at least 1 day a week, sometimes 7 days in a row, sometimes only 2 or 3 days. But now I’ve gone 2 weeks and 2 days without any bleeding at all. Since yesterday, I’ve been losing some brown/dark red blood, but only when wiping, so it’s very little.
Because my periods are so irregular, I can’t calculate when I’m fertile. I took a test yesterday and it was negative. Did I test too early? And when should I test again?

If your last period was two weeks ago, I'd definitely wait another 10 days or so, because the hCG hormone probably isn't high enough yet. So it's definitely possible that you're pregnant, but the test can't detect the hormone because there's too little of it.
Exciting! Good luck with waiting a little longer—waiting always feels so long, haha.

I’d take another test in 1-2 weeks if you still haven’t gotten your period by then. If you had unprotected sex two weeks ago, it’s probably still a bit too early for a pregnancy test (they usually work around 4-5 weeks).
