We have a daughter, Fenna, and want to name our soon-to-be-born son Lennon. What do you think of this combination?

    Hi Wendy,

I think Lennon is a nice name, original … I mean that you don’t hear it that often!

By the way, congratulations on your pregnancy, how far along are you already?

    Best wishes

    Hi N.Coppola
Thanks! We also think it's a nice and original name. I just hope people won't pronounce it as LennOn but just as Lennen. But we still find the spelling Lennon a bit nicer. By the way, I'm now 24 weeks pregnant.
    Are you expecting too?
    Greetings

Not a great combo, Lennen sounds a bit alien and Fenna very Dutch...

Otherwise, it's a lovely name though!

Yeah, I thought about that too, but I personally don't think Lennon sounds that foreign. Thanks for your reply!

    Hello

Isn't Lennon no longer English? I was thinking of that famous singer..

Yes, I think you'll definitely experience that people will pronounce the name differently! Maybe it's best to write the letters the way you pronounce them,

24 weeks is a nice period, you feel good right now

No, I'm not pregnant. I signed up when I was pregnant and just stayed around. My son is now 8 and a half months old, time flies amai!!

    Lennon is indeed English.
We want a name that isn't very common.
Not that he'll later have 10 kids with the same name in his class. But we think Lennon looks nicer than Lennen. And I think it's common with many names that people mispronounce them. My partner has that too, but has never found it bothersome.

Fortunately, we're past the halfway point and I have few to no complaints, so that's nice too.

Our other daughter is 2.5 years old, time flies!

Do you not want a second one yet?

    Greetings
