Hello ladies,
My girl is born, Macey you are very welcome!
But my little girl had a pace to her.
After I posted my last blog around 17:00 I felt some rumbling, but I didn't find it very painful, so I didn't expect anything, but at 17:30.
I called the midwife anyway because it was regular and it became more painful.
My midwife said: 'Come by the practice, I'm still here!' (Her practice is next to the hospital.)
Once I got there, it was basically straight to the hospital, you have quite strong contractions, and already 5 cm dilated.
So I quickly went to the hospital, it was already 18:45 by then.
I was allowed to wait another quarter of an hour, but then I could go straight into the delivery room.
What a relief, a nice bed.
My partner had already called family and friends that it was finally time.
And actually around 19:35 I was allowed to push, and at 19:48 she was already here, so it didn't really take me 5 minutes, but at that moment I was a bit overwhelmed by everything.
So sorry for the unclear times in my last forum post.
Grandma and Grandpa came right away and my sisters too.
Now Macey is sleeping nicely in her crib in the hospital.
I'll have a little afternoon nap too!

Congrats on your daughter! I hope it happens just as quickly for me (not with my first baby). I've been in the hospital since Sunday with ruptured membranes, and they're hoping labor starts naturally since it's still a bit early. If not, I'll be induced on Saturday -
