When did you tell people you were pregnant?

I was wondering when you guys told your family/friends that you were pregnant/were. I told my parents as soon as I found out myself (5 weeks) and my friends when I was 12 weeks

    Parents and grandparents were invited right away, and the rest of the family for the first ultrasound at 8 weeks and 4 days.

    Hi there..

    I took a test last Tuesday... told my parents the next day.. meanwhile a lot of people already know.. I've come to realize you're supposed to wait.. most people in our family told pretty quickly.. we've also had miscarriages in the family and it was actually nice when the rest knew you were pregnant because then you got a lot of support.. and even when everything goes well, it's nice to be able to glow and say it.. why keep such a beautiful gift to yourself when you want to shout it from the rooftops and you're on a pink cloud?

    I found out at 6 weeks and told my parents and in-laws right away.
    Friends and acquaintances found out in the following weeks when we saw each other.
    I also posted it on Facebook after the 12-week ultrasound.

    I told my girlfriends around week 5 too, and this weekend we're going to tell my mom and mother-in-law. I bought a book from Opa Pluis for my father-in-law and gave it to him—he was so happy. My mom is getting a book about Grandma Owl and her grandchild. I'm really curious how she'll react.
